The Medtronic Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) is another great way to build financial security. You have the opportunity to enroll in the ESPP each calendar quarter.
With the ESPP, you can purchase Medtronic stock each calendar quarter at a discount. You can contribute 2% to 10% of your eligible earnings on an after-tax basis through payroll deductions and, at the end of the quarter (or “purchase period”), your contributions will be used to purchase Medtronic stock at 85% of the fair market value of Medtronic stock on the last day of the quarterly purchase period.
